Millennium Ecosystem Assessment Young Fellows Program

At their recent meeting in Frankfurt, the MA science panel endorsed the aims of capacity building activities in MA. One of those aims is "to enhance the capacity of individual biophysical and social scientists to carry out ecosystem assessments". The first capacity building activity will be to identify several individuals in the early stages of their careers as recipients of a fellowship to attend working group meetings and become lead authors in the assessment. We are hoping to fund 40 fellows - approximately 10 fellows per working group.
